Upon answering the door, they are alarmed to see a tiger who wants to have tea and wants to be invited inside. Eventually, they let the tiger in, and chaos ensues! The tiger drinks all their tea and eats all the food they have in the house. It even drains every bit of water from the taps before leaving. Sophie’s father returns home, and the three of them go out for a delicious meal in a cafe. The next day, Sophie and mummy go out to get food, including a big box of food for the tiger.
