Grab The Sunset Limited London tickets to watch a novel in a dramatic form
Get The Sunset Limited London tickets as long as it lasts. It is playing in the Boulevard Theatre in London’s Court Soho. American writer Cormac McCarthy wrote the play. It is his second published play. It was first produced in Chicago by the Steppenwolf Theatre on 18th May 2006 before it moved to New York City. When it opened in NYC, The Sunset Limited came in a paperback edition, and many take the play as more of a novel. A small reason behind this is that it is subtitled “A Novel in Dramatic Form”. McCarthy adapted it into a film five years later, which Tommy Lee Jones directed and starred in beside Samuel L. Jackson.

Is everything black and white?
A story about a chance encounter that will radically and permanently change the lives of two men who come across each other on a subway platform. When they start exploring each other, one thing becomes apparent – their perspectives about the world is thoroughly different. White believes that irrespective of flexibility and value, everything in this world will gradually sink into desolation and death, and there is no coming back.
On the other hand, Black has an entirely different idea about the world. His faith is in God and that everything in the world serves a purpose. Soon, their talks dive into sensitive topics like religion and existentialism. Are they going to stand firm and continue believing what they do? Will they still see everything in black and white? Even though their beliefs are entirely opposite, the answers they seek could mean the clear distinction between life and death.
Can Black stop White from killing himself? Is faith capable enough? This enthralling play deals with free will, faith and redemption. What can you do to save a person who does not want to be saved? Directed by the Tony and Olivier Award winner Terry Johnson, the Sunset Limited is a fitting tribute to McCarthy’s award-winning play.
