Why Watch Run Sister Run

The story is centered around two sisters, Connie and Ursula, who are connected by the same beginning but heading in different life directions. Spanning four decades and leading up to our present-day world, the play explores the themes of nature and nurture, as the sisters are forced to confront a troubling web of secrets and struggle to navigate their unbreakable bond.

The play is written by Chloë Moss’, an accomplished playwright and screenwriter. Her celebrated play This Wide Night (Clean Break, Soho) won the prestigious Susan Smith Blackburn prize and was subsequently produced off-Broadway. It features actors Lucy Ellinson, Helena Lymbery, Lucas Button and Silas Carson. The play is directed by Charlotte Bennett, the Joint Artistic Director of Paines Plough, a theatre company that has produced more than 150 new productions by world-renowned playwrights.
