On Blueberry Hill

Why Watch On Blueberry Hill

On Blueberry Hill is a tale of how fate can sometimes take the most unexpected turn. It all starts in prison, where two unassuming characters share a cell and a bunk bed. As each individual gives an account of their lives, it seems as if there is nothing common between the men. As the night progresses, the two men engage in a discussion of the perils that one must face in life outside. They slowly unravel a connection they share and how it had terrible consequences in their lives.

Winner of multiple accolades, the show is back at the Trafalgar Studios, featuring the same all-star cast of Niall Buggy and David Ganly who do a superb job of nailing the personalities of their character. Produced by Irish company Fishamble, On Blueberry Hill is a beautiful play that is as close to small screen perfection as it can get. Directed by Jim Culleton, the show is mysterious and takes place at a slow pace yet slowly builds and does a great job of touching the audiences. Featuring some of the most poetic and poignant pieces of writing, this is a show that will take you by surprise.
