Adapted from Arthur Miller’s famous play of the same name, Death of a Salesman is coming to the Piccadilly Theatre this October. The production enjoyed a vastly successful run in the Young Vic Theatre with sold-out shows. Its popularity is expected to continue when it lands in the London theatre as well. Sharon D. Clarke stars in the play and is one of the main attractions of Death of a Salesman London.
Meet the cast
Apart from Clarke, Wendell Pierce also reprises his role in the production after its transfer to Piccadilly. Even though the rest of the cast remain unconfirmed at this time, all other actors are also expected to return following the huge success of the play. Wendell Pierce, a renowned television and theatre actor, portrays the titular role of the aged salesman.
He has previously starred in shows such as The Wire and Suits. Although possessing immense experience on stage, this production marked his debut in UK theatre. Therefore, the Death of a Salesman London transfer is his debut at the West End.
Sharon Clarke is a well-known face as well. She reprises her role in the play as Linda Loman. The Olivier Award recipient is extremely talented and possesses immense acting experience as well. Directors Miranda Cromwell and Marianne Elliott perform a wonderful job in adapting the play for the stage, leading to its immense connection with the audience.

Death of a Salesman deals with the life of an ageing salesman and his family trying to achieve the ever-elusive American Dream. This particular adaptation focuses on nuances through the eyes of the African-American salesman.
Arthur Miller won the Pulitzer Prize for the play along with a Tony Award, making it his most read and discussed work ever. Previous revivals of the story have managed to win prestigious awards as well. Death of a Salesman London is expected to draw accolades as well.
