The story of a super-rich kid

The story of the play focuses on a 12-year old boy who receives £100,000 every week as pocket money. Joe Spud owns a sports car and has crocodiles as pets. However, even with all his comfort and luxuries, he is unhappy as he lacks friends. His immense wealth alienates him from the rest of the children. Therefore, to seek true friendship Joe joins a local comp. The musical follows the events at the comp that changes his life as he tries to find what his money cannot buy.
