The Story

The Bring It On musical is the story of a young cheerleader named Campbell Davies, who wants to win the National competition with her group. The over-the-top rivalry and drama involved in the competitive world of cheerleading are brilliantly shown in this show. Although Campbell is all set for her dreams, with an awesome squad, handsome boyfriend, and the title of cheer captain, an unlikely situation turns everything upside down. All of a sudden, she is reassigned to a different school – Jackson High. She knows nobody here, and worse of all, there is no cheerleading squad.

Will Campbell be able to make the best out of the situation? With the National Cheerleading Championships closing in, will her dreams ever come true? Brand new songs by Tony Award winner songwriters and a fresh and spicy script is sure to make Bring It On your next favourite musical. What are you waiting for? Get your tickets before they run out!

The Success of Bring It On: The Musical

Both the original Atlanta and Broadway productions shone brightly with their direction, cast, book, lyrics, costume, lighting and sound designs, receiving multiple Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and Suzi Bass Award. In 2011, it bagged three Suzi Bass Awards for Outstanding Sound Design for a Musical, Best Choreography and Best World Premiere.

The dance numbers in the Bring It On musical were highly praised and the musical earned positive reviews. The cast immerses everyone in their adept gymnastic shows; it is highly energetic and visually spectacular. Especially, their ability to sing, dance, tumble and act simultaneously is by no means an average feat. The musical opened in London at the Southwark Playhouse in 2018. The British Youth Theatre Academy produced it and it was choreographed and directed by Ewan Jones. Actresses like Robyn McIntyre played Campbell Davies, Isabella Pappas played Skylar, Kristine Kruse played Bridget, Chisara Agor played Danielle, Mary Celeste played Nautica, Clark James played Cameron, and Matthew Brazier played La Cienega. The overall production value and arrangement of the musical makes it a remarkable show for people of all ages.
