The Olivier Award-nominated Wizard Presents brings this classic tale to life on the stage. The highly acclaimed show will enchant audiences some more when it comes to the Vaudeville Theatre this summer.
A spellbinding story that twangs on the heart strings
I Believe In Unicorns is a story about Tomas, a young boy who dislikes school and hates reading. The free-spirited youngster prefers playing and having fun in the mountains near his home. When his mother forces him into the library one day, Tomas’ life changing forever, including finding a passion for books.
The show is set in an intimate library where Tomas meets Unicorn Lady. It is Tomas’ newfound enthusiasm for the written word that rallies the boy into carrying out an utterly heroic act in his village, which has been devastated by war.
Theatre producer, performer and legendary storyteller Danyah Miller plays the charismatic Unicorn Lady.

The stage edition of Morpurgo’s much-loved book as enjoyed a string of great review, having been described as “outstanding” by The Stage and as “An utterly magical stage adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s enthralling children’s tale”, by Primary Times.
The English author, poet, playwright and librettist is best known for his hugely popular and delightfully imaginative children’s novels. The award-winning War Horse author became the third British Children’s Laureate, from 2003 to 2005.
