It’s been almost three years since iconic comedian Eddie Izzard launched his Force Majeure tour. Having gone on to perform in 28 countries worldwide and in four languages, Izzard brings a ‘reloaded’ version to the West End
The much-loved comic genius is returning to the West End in early 2016
Prepare to laugh out loud at the Palace Theatre as iconic comedian Eddie Izzard takes his one-man stand-up comedy show to the West End for a limited four-week residency.
Cited as the “most extensive comedy tour ever”, the show will be laden with Izzard’s signature rambling-style of humour that combines surreal situations with everyday conceit much to the bemusement and enjoyment of his audience.
Speaking of the Force Majeure tour last year, Izzard told the Huffington Post:
“Some people say a world tour means you might hit three countries or something, but I don’t know, I think if you’re going to play the world, you should play the world.”
During its extensive tour the stand-up show has been widely embraced by critics, described by The Telegraph as “Entertainment incarnate” and Izzard being a “Comic genius” by the New York Times.
Eddie Izzard’s Force Majeure Reloaded is both written and performed by the comic maestro, is produced by Mick Perrin and has set, costume and lighting design by Sarah Townsend.
You can watch Eddie Izzard’s Force Majeure Reloaded at the Palace Theatre from Monday 18th January until Saturday 13th February 2016. The show runs for two hours and has no age restriction though may contain strong language.
