Crown Imperial shows at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in June

Classic FM will be heading to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Sunday 12 June, 2016. Crown Imperial is being performed by The Philharmonia Orchestra and will feature some of the greatest classical music of all time that has derived from Britain.

The concert is conducted by Christopher Warren Green. All time classical music greats, including Walton, Holst, Delius, Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Handel and many more, will play alongside contemporary composers, including John Barry and Nigel Hess.

This rather special classical music concert will also feature some special guests, including violinist Jennifer Pike, soprano Laura Wright, as well as Debbie Wiseman and Karl Jenkins.

This evening of sheer classical music entertainment will be presented by Myleene Klass and Bill Turnbull.

Last month The Queen turned 90 and celebrations to mark our longest reigning monarch’s special birthday continue. Crown Imperial marks the remarkable life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

Crown Imperial is showing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Sunday June 12, 2016. The doors open at 7.30pm.
