For a limited ten week run, catch Strictly Come Dancing stars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace wow the Aldwych Theatre in Dance ‘Til Dawn
Vincent and Flavia are back in each other’s arms once more at the Aldwych Theatre
Back to Hollywood’s golden era
Prepared to be propelled into the Golden Age of Hollywood in the 1940s in a show that combines romance, comedy, theatrical flamboyance and, of course, dancing. In an intriguing plot that blends endless seamless choreography with a touch of ‘who dunnit’, leading man Bobby Burns is murdered on the set of a film shoot in Hollywood.
As the plot thickens to reveal the murderer a beautiful romance develops between the stunning Sadie Strauss, played by Flavia Cacace, and the handsome Tony DeLuca, played by Vincent Simone. As the police point the finger at DeLuca for the murder of Bobby Burns, the couple resort to what they love doing best as a means keeping DeLuca out of trouble – inspiring footwork, magnificent choreography and tantalising tango, while gazing into each other’s eyes.
Professional dance partners for over 20 years
The former world dancing champions have been dancing together for more than twenty years. The vibrant duo became household names when they appeared in several series of the popular BBC TV show, Strictly Come Dancing. Prior to Strictly the couple mesmerised audiences together on stages across the UK in Midnight Tango. The breathtakingly exciting Midnight Tango was released in 2010 and brought all the elegance and sensuality of tango to theatres throughout Britain.
Flavia’s and Vincent’s compelling dance skills that take the excitement of dancing to new heights can once again be lapped up and enjoyed in a show that uniquely combines the passion of dance with the sobriety of murder.
Dance ‘Til Dawn will run at the Aldwych Theatre for a limited period in the autumn and over Christmas. It will begin on October 23, 2014 and close on January 3, 2015. A press night will November 3, 2014.
Following its run at the Aldwych Theatre, Dance ‘Til Dawn will tour the UK.
