Just as the temperatures soar to 30 degrees plus we have news of an exciting Christmas show that is coming to London’s West End this winter.

The Royal Opera House’s production of Kenneth Grahame’s beloved classic story The Wind in the Willows transfers to the Duchess Theatre in London this December for the very first time in a strictly limited eight-week season from Wednesday 11th December 2013 to Saturday 1st February 2014.

Tickets for The Wind in the Willows are now on sale. The show is suitable for children 5 and over and has received critical acclaim as well as tremendous audience reaction.

The Wind in the Willows tells of the exciting adventures of Toad and his escapades down by the riverbank with his friends, Mole, Ratty and Badger.

This timeless children’s classic is brought to life by The Royal Opera House with a memorable fusion of dance, music, puppetry and amazing design. Will Tuckett’s ingenious choreography is spectacular as the famous characters from the book are vividly portrayed in this heart warming charmer for all the family. Accompanied by Martin Ward’s wonderful score and The Quay Brother’s unique designs, The Wind in the Willows has been described as a modern classic that takes the magic and colour of the riverbank and weaves it into an utterly fabulous theatrical treat
