Fatal Attraction is coming…
Be prepared to be scared, seduced, thrilled and alarmed as the famous psychological thriller has been dramatically re-interpreted for the stage by original screen writer James Dearden.
Based on the 1987 hit movie starring Michael Douglas and Glenn Close, Fatal Attraction begins previews on the 8th March at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London and is booking for a limited fifteen week run to the 21st June 2014. Tickets for Fatal Attraction are on sale now.
This compelling drama is directed by award-winning Sir Trevor Nunn, former Artistic Director for the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal National Theatre, and director on hit musicals Cats and Les Miserables and dramas Nichola Nickleby and Macbeth, amongst many others. Fatal Attraction is the story of obsession and revenge. A chance meeting in a bar between New York lawyer, Dan Gallagher, a successful, happily married man and Alex Forrest, an editor for a publishing company turns in to a casual fling that quickly becomes a living nightmare for Dan Gallagher and his young family.
While his wife, Beth and daughter, Ellen, are out of town for the weekend, Dan has a passionate weekend affair with the glamorous Alex. He assumes it is but a simple fling which he can walk away from but Alex is a woman not to be ignored.
The tension rises in this terrifying psychological thriller as Alex’s obsession escalates from emotional blackmail to stalking with terrifying consequences.
