Charlie and the Chocolate Factory sneak preview

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory sneak preview

On a cold snowy winters day in London the alluring treats on offer at Willy Wonka’s Chocolate factory beckoned. Or rather on a cold snowy spring day in March our very own Shows in London Nams and Nicci were kindly invited by the producers of the new musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, to sample some sweet delights and have a sneak peak at the show coming to London soon.

After walking on the candy encrusted trail, though the bitter biting wind that was whipping through the West End, Nams and Nicci arrived at the glamorous One Aldwych Hotel, which was doubling-up as the tasting venue for the Chocolate factory.

Nams  and Nicci were ushered by some Oompa Loompas down into the depths of the basement where they were seduced with strange drinks and exotic cocktails. No, it wasn’t their usual Saturday night at the Palais disco, this was the mysterious venue for the producers of Charlie and the Chocolate factory to impart some of the well-guarded secrets of the Chocolate factory.

Within the confines of an intimate screening room the weird and wonderful Willy Wonka introduced the world premier of the teaser trailer for Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

Then in order to buy their silence Nams and Nicci were treated to delicious chocolate treats to rival any ‘Wonka’ creation, delightful chocolate caramel milk in test tube glasses, mini candy floss sticks and the most wonderful cheesecake filled golden chocolate eggs. A truly delightful afternoon, Nams and Nicci felt like they had won the golden ticket themselves!
