David Tennant, Adrian Scarborough and Gawn Grainger will star at the Wyndham’s Theatre
David Tennant plays the title role of Don Juan in Patrick Marber’s new production, who will star alongside Adrian Scarborough as Stan and Gawn Grainger as Louis.
Adrian Scarborough is a familiar face on the stage. His latest credit was playing The Fool in Sam Mendes’ production of King Lear at the National Theatre. The highly talented actor boasts a whole string of prestigious theatre credits, including Henry IV Parts 1 & 2, The Habit of Art, After the Dance, Time and the Conways, amongst many more.
Gawn Grainger is also no stranger to the West End stage. His most recent role was at the Garrick Theatre in The Entertainer. Grainger’s other recent theatre credits include The Cherry Orchard at the Young Vic, The Recruiting Officer at the Donmar Warehouse and Macbeth at Shakespeare’s Globe, amongst many more.
Don Juan is Soho is a contemporary revival of Moliere’s classic comedy Don Juan. This contemporary retake of the classic story is relocated to modern-day Soho, where Don Juan is thrown into the hedonistic lifestyle of Soho in the 21st century.
Patrick Marber’s compelling revival of the classical comedy has been described as “Savagely funny, disturbingly dark and disgracefully sexy.”
Don Juan in Soho is showing at the Wyndham’s Theatre from Friday 17th March until Saturday 10th June 2017.
